We aim to provide here on site all the services needed to care for your horse, including veterinary services and transport - a true One-Stop-Shop. We have a very simple motive for this - to care for your horse in the best possible way, to minimise upset and disruption and to thus speed up the recuperation process. When it is not practicable to provide a service directly ourselves, we work with well-respected associate organisations and individuals , such as Cliffe Equine and VetCell, to offer the best possible service to you and your horse.
Veterinary Services
Veterinary services are provided by Cliffe Equine, part of the Cliffe Veterinary Group.
This highly-qualified and well-respected team of vets is based in our recently opened Equine Veterinary Clinic, located here at Harben's Equine Care Centre in Laughton, which we have designed and built to provide the most up-to-date surgical care.
Cliffe Equine's state-of-the-art equine clinic provides full surgical, diagnostic and hospitalisation facilities for routine treatments, operations and 24-hour emergencies.
We are direct sponsors of the G.G. Transport Company based at Harbens Equine Care Centre and offer 24 hour call out.
The modern purpose-built vehicle has low-level entry for trouble free loading and in-cab CCTV for constant monitoring.
The box holds 2 horses up to 17 hh and 4 passengers and is driven by an experienced horse handler. Long or short distance contracts are undertaken at very competitive rates.
The price quoted is the price paid - no hidden extras for hold ups or extra mileage due to route diversions. All transportation includes 1 hour FREE waiting and £10 per hour thereafter (subject to terms and conditions).
