We use the Impulse Line Magnetic Rug and Magnetic Boots by Activo-Med to provide Pulsed Electromagentic Field Therapy. The rug also has inbuilt massage pads, which aid in relaxation and help reduce muscular wastage whilst on box rest.

 The Impulse Line Magnetic Boots are used to assist the healing of lower leg injuries, in particular tendons. They help to reduce inflammation and increase blood circulation to the injured area. Please see below for more detailed information regarding both the Magnetic/ Massage Rug and Boots.
 The Magnetic Rug has five magnetic lines either side of the horse. The magnetic sequence is 1-2-3-4-5- working in the direction of the blood-flow that travels towards the heart.
The Magnet Boots have four magnetic spools which also work in the direction of the horses blood. The way the spools work are from the outside down and the inside up in the sequence 1-2-3-4. This mirrors the drainage system of the legs' lymph lines. It is also the reason why the rug works along with the blood circulation. |
